The 1820 was my favorite too... Until I saw the 1828. Wow!!! All are nice coins!

All very nice, but frankly the 1807 is my favorite....it may not have quite the same eye appeal as others posted, but this is a
tough date to begin with, and to have one that looks like this makes it very special.

    Wonderful halves, Dave. Love them.

I'll guess they're all AU58 and I'll take any off your hands.

If these are PCGS graded, I'm guessing PCGS went 55 x 4.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Regarding the guesses so far...interesting, not sure how the 1807 looks 45, but remember that luster is very hard to see in a pic. Take that into consideration when attempting to grade from a pic. And suffice to say that there is lots of luster on all these CBH's.

Yes Mike, that is an 1820/19, and the luster on it is amazing!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the game image

I forgot to take into account how weakly struck that issue typically is. On another date, that
has the appearance of a 45/50 (to me, anyway).
  • Lots of eye appeal! High end EFs...just kidding.
  • drddmdrddm Posts: 5,371 ✭✭✭✭✭
No worries CoinJunkie, it's a know fact that 1807's are typically weakly struck as you said AND which mine is too. But I thought you said 45 because of what appears to be rub or shadowing on the cheek and neck, thus the guess of 45 but in fact there is only little rub on the high points of this 1807. And like I said the luster is not well seen but definitely there on the 1807.

All are very nice choice pieces!

I say they are all AU58image
  • drddmdrddm Posts: 5,371 ✭✭✭✭✭
All four are actually PCGS AU58 and well deserving of the grade! The luster is all there on all 4, even the 1828, which is under the gray dirt.

Thanks again for the compliments everyone!
