Anyone recognize these Die Gouges on the reverse of this 1971-D Ike - they are pretty significant.

    We've seen others with that same type of gouging and after a seminar we put on at the 2008 ANA in Philadelphia, we had an individual make reference to a possible skipping abrasive wheel edge. To date, that's about the best guess we've come up with.
