15 years in a Whitman deluxe album, 1920 Standing Liberty

I've been working on trying to create a matched look for an album of SLQs. What I'm shooting for is a toned XF coin, but over the years I've had a number of uncirculated coins I've put in this album. Some I did well on, some I was just learning and bought cleaned stuff. Lessons learned.

Anyway, this particular coin was one of the first coins I spent more than $100 on. It went into the album in 2001 and was totally white. This is 14-15 years later.

I think I paid $150 for this, but I must admit my accounting practices were not all that refined 15 years ago. There's no way I paid much more than that. I think this was the second hole in my album that I filled after a 1917 P Type 1.
