1958 proof lincoln...is this DDR?

freshly graded 1958 proof here in pr65bn
when looking at truviews of the reverse...some areas stand out like it's a DDR
i'd love opinions and thanks in advance

The "L" looks like machine doubling, so that could be why it looks like a DDR.

Machine doubling is possible... however, it if is machine doubling would it be isolated as it is in this instance?

...Maybe it's just my old cataract eyes but I thunk I saw some notching.

Much of it looks like machine doubling... but the L and N look to have splits ... might be lighting though.... Cheers, RickO

thanks everyone...i kinda jumped the gun here ( yet again )
as i should of waited to have this in hand with my digital microscope to peer in on this "L"...as it appears whatever this spread is...most pronounced there
i'll drop a close-up of that "L" when in hand

i do prize opinions on this machine doubling versus doubled die

Arn't proofs of this era double struck? Could be a slight misalignment between strike one and two.

ALL Proof coins receive at least two strikes. Some get more depending upon the relief of the coin.

As for the OP's coin, it looks like it should be examined, in hand, by CONECA as there are some definite indications of doubling along with obvious machine doubling.

BTW, CONECA has 4 listings for a DDR on the Proof 1958 Lincoln.

'E PLUR' looks to be definitely. The 'O' in 'CENT' appears to also have machine doubling on the inside of the loop.
