you listed the BECC show - it's the third largest show in the Pacific Northwest.

Just wanted to say thanks for keeping us updated regarding the shows. I seem to be located in an in between area from shows these days - 3 to 4 hours away, as apposed to just 5 to 10 minutes from shows the last couple of weeks. Oh well, I'll keep looking. BTW, would anyone know of a reputable B&M in the Williamsport, PA area? Thanks

Once again, none in my area..... the BECC show in WA is always a great show...used to go to that when I lived in Seattle...Cheers, RickO
  • I have been to several of these shows, and it is tough to be the show manager as well as dealers to get there early, try to be agreeable and courteous to fellow dealers and collectors, and deal with security concerns and travel. A tough roe to hoe in many ways, especially when the expenses of doing shows is greater than money made. But opportunities do walk in the show doors!

I'll be at BECC, it's a pretty unique show - the club members get first crack at tables and so there are a lot of "non dealers" with interesting items you rarely see. Last year I found someone selling 3CS RPDs and a Medalic alignment 1861.

Thanks for posting the shows all over the country!! It is a real help in locating shows that are potential ones to visit. I wish there were a single reliable
source on the internet that was reliable and had all the small local shows as well.

Anyone have anything good, (or bad), to say about the Pasadena Coin and Currency show?

Tried to find a website to gauge size, number of dealers, hours, anything....but failed. Trying to figure out if it's worth the trip or not.

Nothing more disappointing than going to a show, and finding out there's just NOTHING of interest for you! image

Added: (Answering my own question, to some extent)

Found a Craig's List ad for the show. Link

    "45+ tables.....10am-5pm"

    Might give it a go....

FYI that the "BECC" is more popularly known just as "The Boeing" coin show.....

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
