Very nice Chris. I like the ads for the pin as a prize.

There's another ad for the Ruth game scorer that's cool also.

edit: this is not my ad.

  • That's really cool Stone!

So, I know that PSA grades these, but how would one go about that? I've had cards graded before, but nothing like that and I can't see to find anywhere on the website that talks about it.

Mike that's a very cool item, but I have to say the Babe looks like a fat old lady! Maybe A-Rod was not the first to wear lipstick after all? image

    Hiya Chris

Here's the definition - from Heritage Auctions glossary of collectible terms:

    Fantasy Item
an item purporting to be authentic, but which did not exist in any form at the time of the campaign indicated by the item

It's not uncommon for someone to take a PM10 pin - like of Mantle e.g. and add a ribbon and charms to enhance/increase the asking price or value in an auction of the item.

Sometimes people make posters of Topps cards that was not "period" to the item.
