  • Too many, I should get a real job. Plus, what am I going to be when I grow up?

Most of my 5-10 hours are on the forum. The only thing I do in the winter is snow removal which leaves free time for my hobbies.

Probably as much time as I spent at work-40 hours a week. The hobby keeps me sane in my retirement.
  • Same here, I am retired and it is enjoyment for me in my golden years. At least 5 to 10 hrs. a week.

    Interesting poll.

Over 100 hours a week on your numismatic hobby? And three people thus far have indicated this? Really? 14-15 hours a day, 7 days a week? On your hobby? Yikes.

I have several interests, so 7/8 hours a week on coins.... the rest goes to guns, MD'ing, spelunking, home maintenance projects, dogs, cats and occasional contract work.....Cheers, RickO

Less than I used too new interest is loading the Vivofit with steps each day. Still on here, eBay, or imaging and cataloging new arrivals for a couple hours a day.

It's no longer a hobby. image It's a numismatic business.

I can't answer because it's very erratic for me. I abandon coins for months on end, indulging in other interests, only to come back and binge on numismatics when I find an interesting project I want to complete.
