I say no on the stapler. Those divots are always in a straight line. . . . .

His eBay store is called "GoldenShowerWisconsin"? image

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

  • Asking $25.00 for it is interesting.

I'd trade him this for it.

  • I sent him a msg and asked what the marks were and why he was asking 25.00 for it and he told me to go buy a red book. This guy has a B&M about an hour from me I think I am going to go there and ask a bunch of stupid questions and ask to see as many items from his cases as I can before I get kicked out. I will also be looking for the good cherry Picks and if I can find some I will buy them then tell him after the sale is complete. If I was new to coins or a YN that answer would have pissed me off and it pissed me off any way.

lostincoins: a few points.....wouldn't you be wasting YOUR time as well as his? Is your time really this disposable? If his shop is an hour away then you are talking about driving a combined 2 hours to ask a bunch of, admittedly, stupid questions and "get kicked out"

Also, his comment to 'buy a Redbook' could stem from the fact that this coin, a 32-S, has a RedBook listing of $175 in VG-8 (lowest grade listed in the 2015 edition I am using)......Now, is the coin he is selling a huge eyesore? Obviously it is but the seller would likely only realize $18 or so after fees for a coin that lists for three digits as a problem free specimen......I don't think this seller is price gouging in any way

Looking at his other offerings prices seem to be in line and reasonable......Want a cherrypick? His 76-CC dime is the DDR image

edited to add: His ebay store name could have been thought out a bit better: GoldenShowerWisconsin?? No wonder you feel pissed off....what's the old saying, better to be pissed off than pissed on

  • Ha you caught it quickly with the name lol. I know the coin problem free is worth money but as messed up as this is would you pay $25.00 for it? It was also the fact that instead of giving me an answer about the coin he said buy a red book and the comment just irked me as being typical of B&M jerk dealers. As for my time I do need to get out of the house some times as most of the time I am house bound and in Wisconsin during winter there is not much to do anyway. With my boys on winter break right now I could bring my oldest son along and just let him ask questions as they will be legitimate questions but be never ending. He has autism and when he has questions it is hard to stop him. While he is asking questions I could pick what he has on display.

No, but I might ask that price as a seller (and sleep perfectly well)

It's damaged but not from a stapler.
Need to be careful of damaged keys, they might be fakes damaged to throw your attention off.

I had a set of quarters with everything including the 32-D but no 32-S. I wouldn't have filled the last hole with that, it's too damaged but I bet someone else will spring for it to fill a hole.

$25 is reasonable. Would folks pay 1/4 of a G price for a cull 09-S VDB. I bet they would.
