It's A Festivus "Miracle" X2 :) Story within.... and Triple profile bust half

So I'm wanting a few of those flannel/cotton coin holders for a few raw coins. Thought about putting an ad on BST for some. I'm going through a drawer for something else and BAM I find a bag with a half dozen or so plus the 2x2 envelopes and flips I like to make my own "slabs" out of.

Then I'm looking for a Christmas stocking from my Beagle Dog (my he rest in peace) a mini one. I find it and BAM a cleaned triple profile Bust Half that I bought about ten years ago at a Long Beach show. I've tried to AT it all different stupid ways. On a window sill in the shower in an envelope, regular window sill wrapped in all different kinds of "stuff. It was turning an orange color years ago. But now in the mini-stocking it's got darker with some navy blue. Some around here would call it "crusty" I would not. It is interesting to see it progress sorry no images as it progressed. I only scan and I wouldn't have been able to capture the colors.

Yes, I know it's not rare, you wouldn't pay a premium, etc. that's not what this is about. I really don't know what this is about.

Here is a scan as it started it's journey around 10 years ago. I don't have a current scan at the moment and I know this post is worthless.

Now you can't really see the hairlines and I look pretty darn hard. image

Oh, it has indeed "toned" a bunch although it's not "pretty." Once I changed to the Santa stocking it probably should have been dipped first. I've never dipped a coin. This coin has had match heads thrown in, coin wrapper rolls (which work OK) Moisture, heat etc. Heh Heh But the Festivus "miracle" was that I found it, and it has changed quite a bit through the years I haven't been able to recall where it was.

I had a beagle and a foxhound-beagle mix. Beagle lived about 17 years and the other lived about 12. Great dogs. My dogs weren't into coins, but they did have Xmas stockings.
