Santa hooked me up with a new phone (Galaxy Note 4) this year.... I'm pretty impressed with the 16M camera on it.

    I have an older iPhone "4" that is about to get the axe.
    I wanted the new 6 - the one that is almost a mini tablet.

    But seeing the quality of your two demo shots, I may have
    to rethink my choice.

    I've not done a direct Note 4 v. iPhone 6 comparison, but the iPhone 6 camera is very good. The iPhone 4 camera is utter garbage in comparison.

    I have iPhone 6 and had iPhone 4S prior to that. Although I don't photograph coins with my phone, I will say this camera produces astoundingly sharper images than the 4S.

    What I really like about the camera is the voice command..... when I want to capture the image I say "Shoot" and it takes the pic.

    You can also manually adjust everything very similar to a DLSR.
