I think this guy really believes this...

The most totally insane error of all time. A 50 million dollar coin easy.
I don't know what to say. I think this guy actually believes this is a real error.
I mean he has convinced himself of it.
Just so we understand how 'rare' of a coin this is.
Sometime back in 1943 one of the less than 20 1943 copper cents is struck and somehow magically sliced in half at the edge. A 1943 dime is also magically sliced in half at the edge. These 2 halves somehow magically get washed around and like star-crossed lovers they meet. Also (of course) the 2 halves are a matching pair of obverse and reverse. Then in some He-Man style magic these 2 halves perfectly merge perfect. Then this coin is released and was discovered by this man.

i was going to message this guy but I just don't see a way to explain it to somebody so delusional.
UPDATE
For all those who think he is a harmless guy just joking. He apparently caught wind of this very thread. ( I assume somebody contacted him and tried to reason with him). He put this at the end of his description:
"Also: if you like gossip & have alot of time on your hands follow this link, which pertains to me. http://forums.collectors.com/messageview.cfm?catid=26&threadid=933686"
What a sad, sad man we have here.

to bad he wasent delusional to back it up then take it to court. just saying
<< <i>He's hoping to dupe someone and has carefully worded the auction to do so, but has a little CYA peppered in. What a scumbag. >>
My sentiments too. A real scumbag!!!
C'mon,
I think you're being a little hard on the guy. He's got a better chance of being the Pope than of selling that thing for $1,500.00. If he thinks that's real he needs to find a new hobby/profession. Hopefully he's just having some fun and trying to get noticed.
Shoot. I was hoping the 39-S was included....

No he has had this for sale for months. He once claimed it was going in CoinWorld soon. He had it for sale for 20k back then.
He is not doing this in jest. He is serious.
