Anyone seen them lately:

Standard & Secure U.S. World

Express 8 12

Regular 20 22

Economy 30 30

Modern 22 21

22 days for Modern??? Really?? Express almost two weeks now? Thought they'd improve near the holidays and they are getting longer. Not cool.

I can see adjustments here and there for various levels based on volume, but when you're paying a premium for Express it should be 5 days no matter what.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

This was normally a great time for submissions, but with rates going up next year and Don saying the variety designation quarterly special was a real hit, I guess we are just going to have to wait.

With all the time they will take off for the holidays will Express be three weeks and Modern 2 months? If no one expresses their true feelings than nothing will be done to improve service.

    What tier? Economy?

I walked in an Express order on Mon. 12/08 and it didn't even register under My Account until Mon. 12/15.

If it takes until Mon. 12/22 to finish, which I'm expecting it to, I will be very disappointed.

The turnaround times look very reasonable to me. My guess is that the crossover specials might have the graders swamped.

Mine has been there 1 month, 4 days. I feel like their services are slipping. Yes, they're growing, but they've been behind on their turnaround times for how many years?

coin process rates are down from last year. They didn't work last Saturday. I guess they can't run full out all the time

Mine has also been waiting 1 month and 3 days now. The longest I have ever waited before has been 2 weeks...

Regular World has been much more than 22 days.

I always thought it best to under promise and over deliver rather than vice versa which PCGS does.

Dealers submitting prior to FUN so they have fresh stock?

    Sent in 17 Coins for Express 5 Day service for regrade in regular PCGS holders to Secure Plus;
Express Mail on 10/28 - signed for on 10/30; not accepted into their
system until 11/12. Grades Not received until 12/5. Coins returned 12/9.

Four coins sent in same Express box as above - Secure Plus Cross overs. Received
these grades a few days before the large submission, coins arrived within
    a week.

One single coin sent in for Reholdering due to the severe slab scratches,
a normal submission, they placed it in a Secure Plus. I guess they figured if
I wanted everything else in a Secure Plus holder, I must mean I wanted this too.
I received this coin two weeks before I even heard how my Express submissions
    we're doing.

Isn't there some sort of submission gaurantee about the length of time an Express
Submission should take ? Are they issuing credits for very late grading results ?
I'm not looking for a free ride here, I just would like the difference between a normal
submission and an Express submission refunded ( $20.00 per coin & I had a total of
Twenty one coins ). $420.00 refunded would be the right thing to do. Customer service
    has ignored my email.

I have stopped sending in submissions until they get a handle on this. Not logging in coins to make it look like they are graded faster is troubling.

Am I going to send them to NGC? No.

Am I buying far less raw coins with the intent to have them graded? Yes.

Am I selling/trading more of them raw since I can't wait 2-3 months for this whole process? Yes.

I'm out. Got out at avg of $24.80. Slowdown in October concerned me, and the increase in November was not good enough. Used the spike to get out.
Great company, but you need to own it at a good valuation.

that is pretty awful service. If a company doesn't promise or imply something in its service levels, you have no expectations. When a promise is made or implied, you have expectations. Obviously, your expectations were reasonable and they were unmet. Imagine similar service at a restaurant...no tip, talking to manager for sure. Businesses with unresponsive CS typically drive customers away. I hope you get something worked out that makes you a satisfied customer.

I'm going out on a limb here to say that no refund will be forthcoming. Sure it seems like the right thing to do given that you paid a significant premium for speed but, you get a refund, it gets out on the board then everyone will be testing their luck.

Better approach is use the lowest service level process available and let them eat the economic loss until they get some Graders.
If you do what you always did, you get what you always got.

I have a 6 figure coin that was sent in for restoration and was overnighted to PCGS on 9/19, still nothing other than having been entered in the system.

I don't think that means anything. I had one awhile ago that was at 18 when it logged...then while waiting it went as high as 26
Then I watched it come back down...mine took 33 biz days.

  • I was talking to a guy who did an economy submission to NGC of GSA CCs. So finally he got them back this week and they were giving away the candy store at NGC, much higher grades than he expected. And a PCGS submission also from Baltimore still no dice on that one. With NGC delays I just ride their customer service until they get tired of me and ship it out.
