    It looks like the clash from rev. (leaves) that is seen on some. Would have to see a better pic to be sure.
  • Yeah, I'm gonna guess it's a die clash as well. Here is an example from my collection on a 1946-P

    Due to a coin shortage, 1.6 billion dimes were cranked out in 1965 and they didn't stop the presses until the die completely failed or just slap wore out. As long as it resembled a dime, it went into service.

    Good find none the less, tell us what you find out once in-hand.
