Was looking at this dollar and noticed the raised arc through the crown on the obverse, for VAM collectors, is this anything? Thanks!

Also noticed the ANACS cert number is a palindrome.. is that anything?

    I didn't see it listed.
It really should be on the VAM List
    SEND IT IN!
    And nice coin!

Thanks for the link! I see from the site that die cracks themselves do not lead to VAM attribution unless they become big breaks

However, now I can check it closely for one of those many other features.

Ask around.... someone is sure to collect them... it seems that someone, somewhere, collects just about anything imaginable...and yes, there are people who collect belly button lint... Cheers, RickO

    btw beautifully toned dollar.

The green is unusual on a peace dollar, particularly on an S mint coin

IMO, it is not a die break. Send it in. The Peace dollar Series is practically a gold mine for new VAMS; but I cannot believe this is a new discovery.

If there was such a thing, they would even collect "lint seed oil" ;)
