He certainly does not want to upset the balance of full employment, tranquility on the streets, 0.1% inflation, gold, toys and frankincense under the tree and a chicken in every pot!

<< <i>What color is the sky in your world???? Cheers, RickO >>
Sort of a rosy haze with pink butterflies and jumbo lollipops.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
<< <i>Even if all that was true, I still ain't givin' no old fat white man credit for giving presents to my young'un and me workin' my rear off for the hard-earned dollars it takes to acquire said presents. Gonna be a hard candy Christmas. >>
Where is the spirit, Ebenezer? Kids over the age of 4 know that Santa does not exist and appreciate that gifts don't just fall out of the sky, they are a result of a click of the ATM machine and a trip to Target.
The age where they appreciate the hard work that went into buying those gifts is never. More accurately it is 25 or 30 or 35 when that become Santa and have to buy their offspring all the toys with their hard earned money.
My previous post was a paraphrase of a African-American guy's comedy routine I heard a few years back. Pretty funny to me.
I'd like to think I'm on the far end of the spectrum from a Scrooge. We are teaching our child about St. Nicholas and his spirit of giving which started the whole "Santa Claus" thing. Trying to come at it from authentic historical view that embodies some religious aspects instead of a fairy tale commercialized view.

My favorite holiday. There is a sense of goodwill for the week leading up to Christmas.
