Sure, unless they spent more than $6,131,881.80 in purchasing this inventory...

This one's a head scratcher. I don't see either Apmex or eBay working for free. Maybe they ripped a 5000+ ounce PAMP gold deal from some hoarder who wanted to dump before the end of the year, or perhaps they cut a no fee or flat fee deal with eBay for this promo. Odd.

More likely that the new design was very badly received by customers and now they're left with thousands of them. Better to get rid of them at a small loss (shipping and ebay fee, assuming they paid spot for these) than hang on and tie up millions in capital.
References: Too many to list. PM for details. 100% satisfaction both as buyer and seller. As a seller, I ship promptly and keep buyers updated.

    Bottom line…gold is gold.
That being said….I do find them quite unexciting in appearance.
Beauty in the eye of the beholder.
Into the stack locked away…no issue.
If you like to look at your stack and enjoy them, maybe an issue.

It was a new design from PAMP, not likely a hoarder would have something like that. Most likely PAMP wholesaled them off to APMEX.

Ebay has been throwing around promotional money lately. They could be subsidizing this promo beyond zero fees. Perhaps leaving Apmex with say 103% or 105% of hammer, if you will.

At the least, one must be impressed by their shipping capacity.

Look what APMEX accomplished with that sale that ended 12/8. An almost 3% increase in the price of gold since it ended. A lot of buyers are happy. (btw this is a first for APMEX...PM's rising after their sale ended.)

Their ASE sales are the jinx. image

  • I ordered a Pamp Suisse bar at $100 under spot on ebay, I'm hoping there will be no delay in shipment.

Looks like Apmex timed this one wrong.

image possibly but wait a day or 2 it could be a head fake.

If it turns out to be , maybe the chartists could add that to their lexicon.

Don't buy that you fool , look at the chart, its a classical APMEX formationimage (huge volume surge , 1 day spike and then gap to the downside)

I believe that options are utilized by the big sellers to hedge price movements
