Exactly why I said in another thread that we don't really need any more gold and should quit mining it. It isn't worth the environmental impact/destruction that it has/causes.

Isn't there a lot of copper mining north of Tucson too? Like Globe area and north east towards pine top and show low?
Its a nice drive down from petrified forest area very pretty country before you get to the vast frying pan that is Tucson.
Salt river
