1928-D Buff 5 cent?

Is there a 1928-D 3 1/2 legger buff? If so, any pics. I am waiting on a coin to come in the mail. The ebay link is here!!!

I know it is a low grade and looks like some damage to the reverse but I think it could be!!! What do you all think?

Thanks.

Not to my knowledge but I don't know everything and my die variety book is out of date.
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

No such thing that I've ever heard of. If anyone knows of such a variety please PM me or post it here.

Meant to say IF you get it. I'd say from the image that things may be obscured by corrosion but there's no way to tell for sure without having the coin in hand.

It looks as good as the 1927-d three and one half legger, nice find.

IMHO the coin is worth what someone is willing to pay. The winning bidder here was willing to pay $1.99. Now the current owner may at some point want to sell this coin. What he will be able to get for the coin is what someone is willing to pay him. IF the current owner is willing to spend some money by having the coin certified by PCGS or NGC and if the coin is certified and if the coin is determined to be a so called "three and a half leg" Buffalo nickel with a 1928D mintmark there is a possibility that the current owner may be able to sell the certified coin to a buyer who is willing to pay him more for the coin than he had to pay.
