Snow in Buffalo?

While friends and relatives are buried under as much as 6 feet of snow just a few miles to my South I am high and dry and went detecting this afternoon. Dug a 1957 Washington quarter, my 10th silver of the year! It's been a long time(8 years) since I hit double figures for Silver.

Congrats on the double figures. I am only 9 behind you for the year. I was wondering about the Buffalo people. They could be in a real mess for sometime. I was kinda upset that the ground froze here early but I will take that problem over 7 foot of snow.

All it would have taken was a wind shift and that would be my digging out my car instead of silver.

congrats on silver #10! Couldn't imagine trying to clean out after several feet of snow like that. Like PPC said, we'll take frozen ground over that any day.

That is one MAJOR snowfall.... would not want to see that. However, forecast is for nine inches here on Wednesday. Cheers, RickO
