Apparently "live auction" partners don't read the rules either

This one is a "medal"

If you like that one, you can buy an 1804 "medal" from him with a very similar look.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
  • Not sure what I am missing here.....he says its a "Medal" , it says "copy" on the reverse.

What did he not cover in the listing?

Going on right now...look through the lots. There's a bunch of Asian fake stuff sprinkled about.

I don't think the "Live" auctions have to follow the same rules......

That is a metallic round object in the design of a 1795 half dime, not dollar.

I have no problem with this listing.

It is very clear it's not a coin. It is listed in medals.

    Let these fly.

The problem guys put this stuff up in the real coin categories and claim they found it in a desk drawer that belonged to their great great great great grandfather who fought in the war of 1812.
