Actually picked these up back in the summer but newp to posting... 
The 1938 proof is absolutely amazing and with incredible eye appeal that pics can not do justice to... I believe one day for a chance of atleast a two full grade upgrade...
The 1909 VDB is a top pop and the plate coin in coin facts... Both pennies I am pleased to add to my type coins...

The 1938 deserves reconsideration. If there are monster coins, that one makes the "monsters" look like dwarfs. A breathtaking proof for sure !!!!!

36' to 42' proofs can be found with amazing patina's...don't kid yourself into thinking others would be dwarfs...as this is not the case at all
wingedliberty57 has a rate scale just for this to see where it sits in 38's in holders so far
and i hope no offence is taken in just being honest here...this image definitely mutes what is on display here
