Thanks everyone, she is very adorable, active, curious, and a nice lap sitter while I work. Right now, "Half Penny" seems more appropriate, but I'm sure she will soon grow into a full Penny!
<< <i>Very cute kitten.........makes me want to sing.......
Sweet! Looks like my cat that we call KOW WEE Kins!
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly."
Charmy, God bless you. In my mind taking in a stray cat or rescuing a cat or dog is one of the finest things a person can do in their lives. We currently have six cats and two dogs, all strays and rescues! I think you will find that Penny will give you more hours of joy and laughter than you ever thought possible. I often wonder with our crew, who rescued who??? TomT.

Called off the wedding when she said she had to have a cat. I told her that'd be fine with me. It will leave me room for the National Park's Quarter albums.
<< <i>uh, your thread has gone to the dogs....lol is that 1791 and 1796 raw? would love to see slab inserts >>
I bought the 1796 cat and dog a few years ago and is one of the more scarce Conder tokens. It is certified NGC MS63 (see label in photo). The 1791/1796 off center cat/anchor is unique as no other one of this muled combination is known to exist. It is a new purchase and is currently at NGC being graded.

<< <i>Just picked her up from a friend who rescues kitties. Her name is, of course, Penny...
Penny sounds so much better than "Cent".
We have one too - a boy (Oskar) but he's all grown up now.

<< <i>Now this post is a little more coin-related - here is Penny living up to her name by helping me sort pennies!
Whew! For a minute there I thought she may of assumed it was her new litter box.
Her little brother, a yellow lab, is named Lincoln. He's kinda goofy.
