Need Help - Is this a real PSA case?

I'm probably just overreacting to all the "fake flip" talk lately but just got this card from the seller. I noticed the hologram on the back and thought it looked weird. Just went through a couple hundred flips I have and not one has a hologram on the back. The "PSA" writing on the left half is etched on the outside of the case, I could scratch it off with a knife. The hologram on the right side is inside the case. Any help appreciated, thanks.

all in the flip for me.

saw a fake case about a year ago and was spot on front, back, sides, etc. it's hair was perfect.

    devil's in the details.

Yeah, the front of the flip is fine. Just never seen a back with a cruddy hologram and etched-on writing. Makes sense that it's an older one.

I know, I was just sharing what my eye goes straight for...the flip. usually the font, barcode, etc.

you used to be able to scan the barcode on the flip and they'd come up w. a different number than the actual cert number.

nowadays, the barcode even matches the cert number.

they've got it down to a science. ...and it's really is scary.

You must be a rookie collector if you didn't know that is a PSA case image

IT CAN'T BE A TRUE PLAYOFF UNLESS THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONS ARE INCLUDED

Once upon a time there was a thread on here that explained the history of all of the flips. Although I can't find the thread I did archive the information.
I think your flip falls into this category-----

    "PSA flip style 2. 1992 - 1999
Note The slashes through zeros are gone. The bar code is shortened and centered. The back of the flip still has the "PSA" hologram, but PSA made a change with the hologram. The hologram is bonded on the inside and not on the outside. The white PSA logo is the same, bonded on the outside. This also was when PSA starting putting their logo on the bottom right of the slab."

In many regards, I am indeed a rookie collector. Always learning something new.

JBrules, thank you very much for finding that and posting it. Very valuable information.

Figured there has to be a Greenwell in a holder with that back, somewhere...
