I recently bought some items from JM Bullion. When I received them they were damaged. After offering me a ridiculous credit they agreed to send me a return authorization the next morning. That was a week ago. I called them again today and was told that they were busy and would get to it when they could. I am new at buying bullion and am now wondering if I should be buying elsewhere? Is this normal.
Thanks,
David

Sounds like they were damaged in transit. Who delivered them---UPS, USPS, FedEx or ? Sounds like they owe you four more NGC MS70 ASE's.

Your choice of "bullion" needs to be re evaluated. To much of a markup in graded bullion. Even though, JM owes you an exchange.

Yep, tell them you're unhappy with the service you received and send the whole order back. Buy 4 to 5 times the number of silver eagles ungraded for what you probably paid. Unless you're gonna flip 50 MS 70 silver eagles for a quick profit, it's not a good way to stack bullion.
Some silver eagles tend to develop spots over time. That can ruin the value of a slabbed MS70.

The silver eagle was broken or the plastic worth more than the silver broken?...
Edit to add: correct that to valued more instead of worth more...
