The Flowing Hair Half Dollar section is now up....

The Flowing Hair Half Dollar coins are rare, interesting, and expensive for the most part, but fun to learn about, or even Oggle. In face all Flowing Hair coins are neat. It was fun putting this together over the past month or so, and now its mostly complete. May add a few things here and there as time goes on, but for those who want to attribute or confirm authenticity, pics are mostly complete for every die marriage and state (there are a few way too rare,,,,)

If you have some, post your Flowing Hair coins of any denomination. Otherwise feel free to oggle!

Nice job! You should be very proud of your work.

Bought my one and only twenty years ago, O-105 Two Leaves R3+. Sure could not afford to buy it now. Originally OGH at same grade.

Good work, Dave. I did not know that the 1794 had 11 Overton varieties.

Only got one buck. She's had a bath and some graffiti, but I still like her.

  • Dave, great resource.

I have one suggestion though - if you could organize your Overton number in a Top-Down order rather than zig-zagging from left-to-right, then down-left, etc. It's a lot of eye movement across the page, and a Top-Down order just makes it that much easier to read. Thanks image
