<< <i>Tim, I used my first one recently and called to verify the balances. So far, so good. I'm not worried, since a credit card was used. I plan to buy just 2 $100 cards using 2 different Paypal accts. I thought the deal was per eBay acct vs Paypal acct. It looks like eBay just sent a warning. Now I'm a little skittish buying more? Are $100 considered different vs the $50 ones or more of the same? >>
I bought 9 of the $50 for $45 and they only sent me three and warned me about buying on multiple accounts. Now I'm still trying to figure out how the heck to get my money back for the other 6 because they said they can't refund me. What a mess
Please be careful with this seller. The seller is actually Paypal, and I had a very difficult time with them. I actually had to file a dispute against them, and had to wait til the end of the dispute to get my refund. Once I made the dispute, all communications stopped from the buyer. I was very disappointed. They acted like an eBay scammer, although I know they know the rules. It was one of the worst experiences I've had on eBay.
In addtion, when I got the refund, they sent $940 to my Paypal account instead of actually refunding my credit card. So they ate the credit card charges and I still got my credit card spending bonus.
Are these things difficult to use or is it just me? I bought one and went to use it tonight on a wax box I just won and it wouldn't take the code at checkout. I paid by PayPal but it gave me some error message that it was unable to be used. Does it need to be activated somehow? Why does it come with a PIN? These are the instructions they give you:
During checkout on eBay.com:
Enter the 13-digit redemption code, then click Apply. Click Continue to proceed to PayPal. Log in to your PayPal account. Review the payment details and click Confirm and Pay.
At checkout there's a place to put codes, I put it in there and it wouldn't take. Tried checking out using both the app and the website and neither work. So frustrated.
