1827 Capped Bust Half; post your crusty circs!
One of my side branches is putting together a date set of bust halves from 1807-1839, mostly in vf but different ones grading from G to AU. It's a fun low stress way to collect as the coins are for the most part readily available, affordable, and I can wait for one with the right look to come along. My first 1827 was bought in the early days of my collecting, when I was more attracted, bowerbirdlike, to Bright Shiny Things. My tastes are different now and when I saw this one offered by BustHalfBrian on the BST I had to have it! Thanks Brian, and please post your crusty circulated 27's everybody!

<< <i>Jrocco, your images have a distinct Lkeigwin look to them !
I guess you can tell which of the above coins I have posted in this thread were imaged by Lance.
Yeah yeah yeah....just the one nice set of pics.
Hey, here is an 1827/6 O-101, and yes, these are my dead lifeless pics of a really nice coin.
cool overdate JRocco. You need a "LanceView" of that one
Speaking of crust and a coin in desperate need of Lance is this 1829/1827 O-101
I guess it fits nicely an 1827 crusty thread.
