thinking of buying an eddie murray game used bat from his indian days that has 3 pieces of masking tape around it.  Any resell market for something like that. Value?

There are a lot of bar collectors out there. Presumably you are talking about two rings of tape down near the handle. This would be consistent with how he taped his bats around the time he played for the Indians. If the bat shows good use and gets authenticated by PSA (John Taube), you are probably looking at between $300 to $1000. If you posted photos at gameuseduniverse.com, you could probably get some good feedback from the bat pros on that forum.
