Flawed teams for sure....I like the Cardinals but I could see they were flawed as well at this point....interesting that the 5th and 4th seeds made it to the World Series.

THIS!!!
I have been lucky enough to have been to all of the post season games here in Kansas City and with the blessing of my wife, I will be flying to SF and hopefully see game 4, if necessary game 5 in hopes of the Royals winning it all!!!!
I'm just exploring all of my channels.. but does anyone have any connections or tickets that they would sell at a fair price?
Go Royals!!!

if nothing else it will be mildly interesting to see how many of the low 20-something runs the Giants score in this forthcoming 6 game series will come without the benefit of a hit. I'll say the number declines to 11 because the Royals flash much better defense than the Cardinals. And on the flipside, how many of the Royals' plate denting innings come down to
- Infield groundout
- Alcides Escobar bloop single
- Lorenzo Cain bunt (fielder's choice)
- Alex Gordon half-hearted attempt to avoid beaning (sad Hunter Strickland close-up camera shots)
- Bunt (2006 Tigers' pitching staff-esque 1B overthrow).
- Catcher error (ball knocked from Posey's glove by sliding Lorenzo Cain)
- Captain .212/.271/.361 Mike Moustakas - 3 run HR off LOOGY Javy Lopez!
- Harold Reynolds' bib-soaked Ned Yost congratulatory game wrap analysis.
- 2014 Royals/Giants enter the conversation with the '87 Twins and '06 Cardinals for the worst team to win a World Series in the Free Agency Era discussion.
- Off-season "hot stove" news is dominated by teams overspending for "lockdown relievers" because the Royals played 6 inning games and starting pitching maybe kinda isn't that important after all.

Nothing could be further from the truth. What has transpired this postseason has been nothing short of fantastic for baseball. I look forward to the World Series, as do many other baseball fans across the country. Notice I said baseball fans.
Yes, because there are so many more compelling things to watch on tv, like 16 and Pregnant or Real Housewives of New York.

My thoughts exactly.
If you think these KC and SF teams are "boring," you probably don't really like baseball very much.
