Silver purchase

Is it unreasonable to try and buy small amounts of Silver for $ 1 over spot, like a couple generic 5 ounce or a 10 ounce bar?

I see shipping being the biggest obstacle. Lowest I pay is $1.93 for less than three ounce package.

Maybe I'm wrong, but you cannot drive somewhere and get it for cheaper than that. I think 1.93 is more than reasonable.
