with enough deliveries, you could become the next guy to appear on that cable show about hoarders and how their families arrange interventions and then the tearful admission that you're sick and need help, which leads to your own hit comedy cable cooking and home renovation show, so go for it, i guess.

I think a lot of this is just getting something unknown in the mail every month. There is the LootCrate which has been around a bit and they seem to have some decent stuff in it. Although they are not sports related. I think overall its a good idea if they put relatively decent packs and items in them. There are some reviews linked on the Facebook page they have but I would imagine they were sent out for free to get the reviews. There should be some real reviews up on YouTube or something like that once they start sending them out. I looked at the site and they showed the wax boxes they were pulling the packs from and it looked to be a decent selection of boxes. This doesn't seem all that much different than those re-pack boxes at Walmart and such. I am halfway tempted to try it and put up a video opening one myself.
It's actually a pretty good idea. I have about 300k cards with a ton of starpower that I'm struggling with what to do with. The bulk buyers only pay about $5-$10 per 5k cards which is essentially giving it away. If that's what CollectorCrate is paying they can afford to throw a lot of $2-$5 cards in the boxes and offer a good value for people with no collecting focus.
Some funny stuff here. I went ahead and ordered one for the hell of it. I will update and give it a review. I do need some New Kids on the Block packs for a gag gift for some friends.
I just got the bronze one to see how it goes. I understand a lot of people being apprehensive about this idea. I have seen that these types of products can turn out decent if they do it right. Plus I like a mystery and taking a gamble sometimes.
Ben ... thanks for sharing that break! Hope your daughter liked the gum! lol

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I don't collect anything after '89 so I dont know what those packs go for or whether it was worth it. Hope it brought you enjoyment. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for being the guinea pig and sharing the results. I wonder if they added more team branded oddball items and offered team boxes (Royals, Orioles, etc.) if that would add more appeal. They could extend this to not only the oddball items, but the jersey & auto hits as well.
I just can't imagine a Yankees fan, for example, being thrilled with a Red Sox mini-pennant and prospect jersey or auto vs. being guaranteed Yankee items.

Yea I have to agree. Would have liked a Cubs pennant and sticker better. Over all I don't think it was to bad. I would like to see an unboxing of the higher tier ones to get a feel for the packs that are put into those.

I'm curious if the silver and gold level have better packs?
Thanks for the video. Although not for me,the pack offering was better than I thought it would be. Wonder what the silver/gold level box would contain pack wise. If you buy them let us know what they contained.

Got the Silver Tier CollectorCrate this month. I liked this one better. They have added the options of picking your team as well as 2 alternate teams. It was nice to see the 82 Donruss and the 93 Finest in this one. Video link below.

It has to be profitable for the people repackaging this. I doubt it's a good deal.

Thanks for the unboxing video. Agree with Guru in that I don't think I would spend the money on that after seeing it.
