Error: Kennedy Wrong planchet? + rotated die
Found this while roll searching. What caught my attention was that it sounded like a slug of medal. Then I weighed it. The regular 98 P is on the left. I did not rotate the photograph of the coin. Can anyone tell the degree of rotation?
Any thoughts as to what planchet it could be struck on to weigh 10g and sound different?
*********UPDATE
I'm solving my own issues, but leaving the top post as-is
I just realized that there is, what appears to be a "seam" on the reverse. FAKE ROTATED DIE. Which is even more clear to me, because the reverse is not the reverse used for the 1998 dies. It appears to be one from the 70's. Higher relief.
