Since we are resetting the clock, I vote for 1986 Donruss Fred McGriff PSA 10. Of all the HOF borderline cases, I like his chances in 2021 with the Veterans committee.
It's surprising to me, Larkin hasn't been fully recognized during this frenzy or previously.
I recently bought his '87 Topps Tiffany for $110.
Relatively low pop from the over-production era.
3rd year ballot, 70.5 WAR, .295 hitter
I started buying the lesser stars of the 1980s in PSA 10 several years ago. Orel Hershiser and Darryl Strawberry come to mind. Not HOFers, but solid careers and still popular with collectors. Then you have HOFers like Barry Larkin and Roberto Alomar that are under the radar. Hard to believe, the 1980s are the new vintage. The 1985 Orel Topps Tiffany PSA 10 have been selling in the $200 range and will likely settle in the $250-300 range.

I agree. I was just looking at his 87 Tiffany prices the other day and not much movement. Bonds, McGwire, and Bo have seen huge increases in the last month. And all 3 of those guys have a previous Tiffany card but this is Barry’s first one.

Haven't heard too much about the Ichiro, I think he will take a pretty nice increase within the upcoming months. But just my thinking.
Vintage Rookies
Even if it "falls" to 50K (it's still a MASSIVE win) from the 30K average price tag last year. I picked up one at last years National for 27K.
It is a sharp looking card as well.
I'm betting on the 1964 Topps Curt Flood to pop.
;-)
Marc , if I were you, I would sell and buy back if you believe the card will fall. MJ 10’s are now selling for $100k plus
This reminds me of the 1955 Topps clemente in a PSA 8.

Crime Dog just set a new record, $305!

Now why would you say that??? That is a ridiculous statement. Do most people know Babe Ruth?? And he's been dead for 70 years....

There seems to be a whole lot of "I don't know X, therefore everyone else doesn't know it either" going around.
Folks, just because you're not educated on a matter doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of people who are. Practice less talky, more listen.

I'm still impressed with your $100k call for Jordan
