My wife and Daughter were contemplating what to get for my birthday. They finally ended up deciding on an ounce of silver each I'm happy with that. Does this happen in your household?

I always give them a hint... I even show them that i would be Happy with a Franklin half dollar but they always find something else to give me. Oh well.

I give my niece and nephew, 4 and 5, a silver round every Christmas. A kookaburra and ASE. I'll do it till they turn 18. Not as fun as a toy, I know, but could be a lot better years down the road

Thanks everyone, my birthday is tomorrow. I plan on starting my day at 0420 where I will get up and leave the house by 0510. I'll spend a couple hours commuting... about 9-10 hours at work... Just another day....lol.

Oddly enough, I do not even have a Kookaburra (Have never had one). Maybe I'll look for one and pick it up for myself. I made it 42 years folks

My daughter got me Fruit of the Loom underwear. Those droopy kind of underpants that hang down to a guy's knees….. and she thought it was funny. And if that weren't bad enough, she used 7 different colored Sharpies to write the days of the week on the inside elastic waste band.

Why is it, I would love nothing more than some sort of PM for every gift.

Yet if I give my wife 10 ASEs or 1/4 oz AGE for her upcoming birthday next week, I'm dead!
