Something for the coin collector who has everything

A gift I bought myself

The coins are real and looks like they were soldered on to create this match/cigarette case. The Half Dollar on the front is a Carson City, The seated quarter on the back is 1876, and the half dime is 1850. A case that was made in 1889 and well loved by its original owner, W.R. Lee.

Cool... I guess actual coins were pressed or hammered into the sheet goods before being bent, soldered, and silver plated.

Same thing we do with our coins. Put them in a box and take them out to occasionally to bring a smile to our face.
