Very cool! Congratulations on your pickup.

I have a 1936 Olympic Album with color photo cards.

I also have a set called the Kings of Speed which has this card of Owens:

That is a great-looking ticket, congrats! I always have admired what Jesse Owens accomplished. I have thought of putting up a picture of him once I get the man cave fixed up.

    Fantastic item! Looks brand new.

Makes me wonder...what is the oldest authenticated Olympics ticket? Anyone on here collect all of these?

That piece is incredibly cool and whoever held it had a front row seat to history as well.

You now need to buy this item to go along with it! image

A little background......This is one of THE medals that was awarded to Jesse Owens during the Berlin Olympics. At last years National in Chicago, SCP was displaying this medal in their display case as they had in in one of their upcoming auctions. Apparently Jesse Owens had given this medal to Bill "Bojangles" Robinson and his family had consigned it to SCP. I was trying to take a photo of the medal while it was in the display case and one of the SCP people came over and took it out of the case for me so I could get a clear shot. I was stunned that they were willing to do this for someone who obviously didnt have the money to even sniff at this piece of history but they didnt think twice about doing this for me. Then they really blew me away by asking me if I wanted to hold the medal. Shocked...I muttered yes and as it was handed to me my mind thought back to all those old black and white news reals I saw from the Berlin Olympics and realized I was holding in my hand an item that not only WAS history but was an item that was handled by some incredibly historic people. I am not ashamed to admit I did get a little emotional and will forever remember the moment.

I am not a ticket stub collector but the one the OP posted is one that would have to be in the top 5 stubs I would want to own. Incredible pick up.
I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!
