Yes because Virginia is such a world beater in football. They were 2-10 last year lol. The reality is, after the sec, theres not much difference is strength. If you think the pac 12 is far above the Big 10, you are living in a fantasy world. >>

UCLA has a long standing tradition of scheduling difficult non-conference games. Keep on thing in mind, schedules are made years in advance and some games that are anticipated to be great do not turn out that way

Are you in 3rd grade? I'll try to keep it simple for you. UVA is a legitimate football team. At times top 25 in the country. The FCS schools can NOT ever be in the top 25... well, not the real top 25. It's not even close to a comparison. When you schedule UVA and Texas you have the potential of playing two very good non-conf teams. Turns out they are both down this year.
Pac 12 and Big 10 aren't even close in recent years.
Here are the Sagarin ratings for conferences. Notice the Pac 12 is at the top with the SEC. The Big 10 is way down and barely above the American and the Mountain West. One ACC league is above one of the Big 10. I am sure you'll say Sagarin, who gets paid to do this, lives in a fantasy world? It's called facts not just some blow hards opinion. Go read it.
According to the link you just posted, the Big 10's schedule is closer to the SEC in difficulty than it is with the American and Mountain West conference that you claim they are so close to.
So literally it would be closer to compare the Big 10 to the SEC than the Big 10 to the Mountain West.
Thanks for the link.
Also, according to the link:
Teams with Top 20 difficult schedules by conference: PAC 12: 5 SEC: 5 Big Ten: 3 Big 12: 3 ACC: 2 American: 1 MAC: 0 MWC: 0
The Illinois Washington game was on TV- A tough game to watch as Illinois made many mistakes, turned the ball over twice resulting in defensive TDs. Illinois does have a talented QB and some good receivers
I miss the days of the 10 game schedules with three quality non conference game.

I don't know about all that but I know what the conference rankings on that page show and they show the Big 10 is neck and neck with the ACC just like I have been saying. Plus, the American and the MWC are gaining fast on the Big 10. In 10 more years I am not sure the Big 10 will be part of the power 5 conferences unless they had some better teams (ala Notre Dame).
