Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
I'm working on the additional lots and will get to the bids.
My photobucket is working slow and also the PSA site for me - so this is a bit painful right now - but what the hell else would I be doing right now? >>
I'm sick about this and will really miss Mike. Last year, I lost my father who I was very close with. Those first few weeks were pretty tough. I was just re-reading something he sent to me, which I share with you. It speaks to who Mike was as a person and the tremendous empathy he showed me during a very difficult time. Here's what he wrote to me:
"It's so hard losing someone we love. He'd want you to keep your head up, and hopefully you'll be able to find some peace in and over time. It never feels the same again, just life in general when we lose a part of ourselves."
Mike, love you man. Thank you so much for your words of comfort in my time of need--we'll help you in your childrens' time of need. So sorry this happened and we'll try to do our part to look after your kids. Rest in peace, dear friend, until we meet again.
I'd like to donate two lots. I hope you guys will bid these up nice and high knowing where the $ is going and knowing that there are three beautiful children involved in this tragedy:
I don't have any extra cash to bid on anything at the moment. But ill put this 90 Fleer Canadian Will Clark (lots of Clark fans out there) up I think a starting bid of $ 35 is a good start.

Great Work by everybody! Man just great guys on this board!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Everyone, Please check the thread that I started with the updated totals. I believe I have everything up to date through Davis' post at 11:27 If i have missed something or it is not correct please PM me and I will check and update as needed. Thanks, Arex
I didn't know Mike but in reading through the story and all of these posts it really touched my heart. Thanks for doing this for him...what an honor. Put me down for 250 on the card vault.
I will donate a 1984 Fleer update set in mint condition. I will add pictures later this afternoon. The centering precludes straight 9's or 10's on the stars, but it is still a great set. Purchased from BBCE two years ago.

Since the Ruth promo's are such a great attraction - I'm gonna add 5 more! That's all I got.
I'd like to donate this 78T rack ($50 sounds like a good place to start), and if you'd kindly put me down for $100 on #33, please sir.

Just wanted everyone to know - that this set was put together by Mike - if anyone is interested in something from him?

Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona.
