PSA/DNA Baseball question/opinions

Hey guys.
I was wondering if anyone on here uses this service often and knows what to expect when sending in Baseballs to get graded a #.
From what I've read PSA/DNA grades the overall condition of the ball and autograph. I have a Early Rawlings signed baseball that looks to be game used. The wording on the factory ball has worn mostly off and evenly like it was used not a lot but what I would think part of a game. How bad will this affect the grade and does it affect the grade on the overall condition of the ball. Also does this look like a game used ball? And can anyone help date the ball?
I took some pics to show the condition and I would appreciate yalls opinion on the condition of this ball. The autograph is flawless but the ball is evenly worn a tad. The ball is PSA/DNA authenticated but Id like to get a grade on it. Is it worth sending in for a grade? If so what grade should I expect with the scans shown?
Thanks in advance.

  • Well, you definitely saved the best picture for last. I have no opinion other than the fact that it's a cool piece.

The ball looks like a 4 or 5 to me (PSA is somewhat harsh on faded pre-printed ink) and the signature a 9. I don't know that I'd want the baseball grade knocking down the overall grade so much. That signature speaks for itself and I think the ball presents better than a 4 or 5.
Always buying 1971 OPC Baseball packs.

I would leave it alone. It is beautiful just the way it is. Great piece Handyman.
