Play Ball Baseball Game - imagine if there were the PC Police in 1947?

I picked this game up on ebay last week - it's a variation to another - more simple version - that I got a few years ago - I believe these games are premiums from the leather company.
Play Ball - Gem Leather Co. - 1947
It's a spiffy little portable game 4.5 X 7.5"
game out of box:
Only small problem is the "dome" is pushed in a bit and I'm not sure if I'll take the time to fix it yet?
The mechanism is obviously the dice and the potential "outcomes" on the chart.
Now for the "pre-PC" part:
Can you imagine the outcry today if that were on a box? The crew on "The View" would be stoning you in effigy!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Here's a simpler version of the game that I picked up a few years ago. As I said - probably a premium from the Gem Leather Goods Co. - also in 1947.
As you can see there's no dice dome - since this one came in an envelope, they may have expected people to supply their own dice?
<< <i>I think we would still see this if shut ins and invalids had a surplus of disposable income. Awesome game in any era. >>
For today, it would be labeled: For deadbeats and freeloaders, LOL!!
Great game, Mike~you have quite a collection of these!
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

Yeah. but he never lets me play with any of them.
Nice pickup Mike. You'll have to pickup at least one new (old) game at next year's National so we can play in person.
