Bought as a baptismal gift for my first grandson/grandchild
This 1 oz Gold coin showcases a series of images representing the Five Blessings of traditional Chinese culture. In Chinese tradition, the Five Blessings encompass all aspects of life: "May your wishes come true," "May you have speedy success," "May every year bring a surplus," "May flowers bloom for prosperity" and "May your stock turn over like a spinning wheel."
The reverse of this .9999 fine Gold coin features a symbol for each of the Five Blessings: a bat for happiness, a deer for career success, cranes for long life, a magpie for joy and the Chinese character for a wish of good fortune. The obverse features the Susanna Blunt-designed likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, along with the face value and year.
This beautiful Gold coin would make a great collectible or a perfect gift for any loved one you wish blessings upon.
