Die cracks on $2 1/2 Gold Indian

Picked this up at the ANA, thought the two die cracks were interesting, possibly scarce. I imagine the die must have been pretty weak for this to happen.

Have you examined those to see if they are INTO the surface of the coin? Sometimes a scratch will form a raised farrow that looks like a die break, but if you look at it more carefully, you will see a "ditch" with raised metal on one or both sides.

It's hard to tell if these are 2 die cracks or just 1 lengthy internal rim cud shooting into the fields below the S and T but being fully connected traveling the entire pathway on the rim behind the tail feathers?

If you follow the yellow line you'll see it's really just 1 as they are connected.

I don't recall having seen this on another $2 1/2 Indian.

However on Standing Liberty Quarters you sometimes see them designated by PCGS as either die cracks or internal cud mint errors.
