1990 Bowman Tiffany Print Run?

Everything I've seen states the print run at 3000. There's an older thread here where RookieWax stated other sources had it higher and was looking for confirmation, but no one responded. I finally picked one up (thank you 4x eBay Bucks!) and the serial is #4611, so it's definitely higher unless they started at something significantly over #1. What's the highest/lowest serial anyone has seen?

It was stated at 5,000 from what I recall, but there seemed to be a lot of them out there back in the day. It seemed like there were 10,000 or 15,000 back in the day, given how often I saw them, but I don't recall a serial number north of 5,000. I don't believe any Tiffany set had a 3,000 print run. All at least 5,000.

Thanks for the info, Beckett and the Standard Catalog both have it listed as 3K. 5-6K sounds like a more accurate number, but would be interested to see if anyone has a serial over 5K.

In the completed auctions on EBay, there's one that had a serial number of 5653.

Duh, I should have thought to look there. I checked the active ones, and didn't see anything over 5K. So 6K sounds like the most likely print run which would be the same as the 89.

FWIW, I am a long time tiffany collector and the number I have always heard for 90 Bowman was 6k. Topps is actually harder to find in 1990.
