    Very nice and oh so close to being a radar serial number too

    I thought this was a myth, but apparently more people are now not only collecting the poured bars, their considering what serial number is on that older poured bar. Crazy stuff lol.

    I personally wouldn't pay extra for the serial number, just pointing it out. It's pretty big in currency though. I got a slabbed coin back from PCGS once with a radar serial number on it but I don't expect to get a premium for it. That said I would bet there are people that do collect bars for the numbers. There are often bars mentioned with "low serial numbers" like it should increase the value.

    Its worth checking the major retailers for the gold poured bars now and again. The cost of admission is high but the premiums are fairly reasonable - at least compared to similar silver bars.
