OPC Wax Run and Assorted Other Wax

I posted my PSA graded OPC wax run once before but it has been greatly upgraded and expanded since then, so I thought I would share it once again while we are all waiting to see pictures from the national. I thought I would throw in a few other packs I thought might be enjoyed as well. Many of these packs have come from many great board member including (sorry if I forgot anyone): grote15, miklia, MarsAttacks, flatfoot816, cincyredlegs, KalineFan, thenavarro. Hope you enjoy.

Awesome run! I take it OPC used the Topps wax wrappers in 1966 and 1967.

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful packs. I've put together similar runs for OPC baseball but not in as high a grade as you. Really impressive. I know how difficult some of these are to come by. Nice work.

Terrific collection! I don't really follow the unopened baseball market, so I am seeing quite a few of these for the first time. Thanks for putting these scans up.

Hey, some of those packs look mighty familiar, LOL! You're probably the only baseball card coillectore to have bought packs from me using silver quarters as payment, too, LOL!

    Awesome run!! Just beautiful!

Only because no 9s exist yet, I'm sure! Just five packs graded in total.

Thanks for the great words everyone. It was quite a challenge putting all of these packs together. Lucky timing definitely played a role. I bought the '76 OPC pack about 30 seconds after Tim posted it on the B/S/T board! I hope to complete the '60s Topps run if I can ever find any for sale.

SumoMenkoMan: Yes, OPC used Topps wrappers in '64-'67. I've never seen a '64 or '65 wax pack but have seen wrappers.

Tim: Whatever it takes to get more wax!

eek, the '66 is only an "8"?: Scott it correct, there are no higher graded '66 packs, nor are there any PSA graded '68 or '69 OPC packs. I have seen a GAI graded '68 pack though, but will never be able to pry it out of a fellow board member's hands!
