Soon after that, Steppenwolf.
...and soon after that a very small venue at UNC Chapel Hill
to see Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Rush, And Doc & Merle Watson
on the same show. Sat in fold out chairs right up at the
stage.

They sounded like crap. I was seriously thinking of asking for my money back.

Lol Mike.
It's funny how some bands/artists sound so bad in concert. I don't respect acts that need a studio to make them sound good.

The tightest band I ever saw was Genesis. Those guys were good, sounded
even better than the albums.

For me, it was Metallica/Guns n Roses at the LA Forum in 1988. Metallica opened and played a killer set. Then GNR decided to wait until like 1AM to go on stage.

Midnight Oil on Deisel and Dust Tour was first club show.
"1992 Peter Gabriel - Steam tour "
Was That the tour that started off with Come Talk To Me?
This is perhaps the best song/performance combination I've ever seen.
Wish I had been there.

I saw GNR at MSG and they pulled the same crap. I had heard that they went on late, but I disregarded it. I had to go to work the next morning, not a pleasant morning.
Deer Creek, Indy
Jason
Jane's Addiction, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Living Colour, Nine Inch Nails, Fishbone, Ice T & Body Count, Butthole Surfers, Rollins Band

<< <i>First concert was Y&T on NYE 1985. First concert I wanted to go to was Journey at the Mountain Aire concert. This is the show they filmed the "Girl Can't Help It" video at. The Outfield, Honeymoon Suite and Andy Taylor opened. >>
I saw Y&T that same year at Warno's Theatre in Fresno. Went to a couple of Mountain Aire shows, too. First one had Ratt, REM, Berlin, Cars and Huey Lewis.
<< <i>U2 Joshua Tree Oakland Coliseum 1987...pretty cool that my old babysitter who was in college at the time took me! >>
I was there that night. That was a great show.
<< <i>Oingo Boingo... 1985 >>
Along with RATM, this is one band I really wish I had caught live.

Sawyer Brown- friggin AWESOME
Diamond Rio- Average at best
Clay Walker- Man, I like his music, but I think I could of put up a better show
The 1 thing that sticks out in my mind is how much "herbal remady" was being consumed.
You could write your name in the air! LOL
Foreigner, Loverboy, Scorpions and Iron Maiden.
11 years old with my 22 year old cousin, her boyfriend, and a bunch of their friends in a motorhome.
My folks were pretty naive, my cousin was very cool, and that day was an unforgettable experience.
