The only thing worse than an OT thread is a NT (no topic) thread.

I find it most interesting that these threads seem to amuse many members and at the same time ruffle the feathers of others......................who dutifully show up to express their dissatisfaction!! image even more interesting is that while there are many OT threads started by members in the interim between my inquisitions, those same disturbed members never utter a peep. very telling, but we must carry on and a researcher of modest acumen should retrace the threads in their improper order to find the who-what-when-where-how-and why of it. there is always a reason.

The OT thread can be amusing, informative, boring, or inane.

The NT (No Topic) thread can only be boring or inane. The odds favor the OT thread, by a very wide margin.

I guess that if one has nothing informative or positive to add, then one can always troll with threads like this.

I was going to call the thread completely useless and foolish, but I see you learned a new word, so I'll just stick with stupid.

But people are missing the idea (as I see it) as to how, what, where, etc, are numismatically related. I admit I did as well, but I simply posted a pic that I wondered
about which was "how?" and got some good answers. Keet's threads could be extremely informative if we thought of numismatic relations to the question.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
