Is this a gash on the coin or slab?

Take a look at the enhanced coin please. Do you think the gash and milky coloring is on the coin or slab? It's between the T and the Y in LIBERTY. Thanks in advance.

    Trick question???

But of course it's a paramecium that is about to turn into a feather on a bald eagle and then soon after, turn into a full blooded Cherokee Indian baby...

I'd say some type of foreign material/substance/toning on the coin.

Agree...along with the beginning of small milk spots. This set was a bargain for $160 though.

My 2¢ ... about a hundred dollars too high but this is a PM board and I don't attribute numismatic value to these. Others do however, and on the collectibles market $161 is a fair price or just slightly above.
