The Mint's press release does not specify.

    No.

The US Mint Product page adequately describes the differences if you are familiar with the "changes" which have occurred to the coin over the years. The "collectors editions" of the 2014 Kennedy Half dollar in the three sets which are to be released all have the larger Kennedy Portrait which originally appeared on the Kennedy Half Dollar between 1964 and 1995.

The design was reduced beginning in 1996 and again in 2000.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I still do not see a firm release date for the 4 coin silver set..... I would like to get one of those. Cheers, RickO

A date has not been released but I would expect something within the next 2 or 3 weeks.

    For the OP:

Note the difference in size of the Profile of the current design with the 2014 Design?
Note the absence of the Spaghetti Hair?

Side by Side 1964 and 2014:

As stated in other posts, I think that having the dual date on only the gold coin is a major mistake as it should have been on all 7 versions of the anniversary coin.
