Question about an unopened rack pack...

I just bought a 1985 Topps baseball rack pack and was surprised to see that the cards are not separated into individual compartments. Is this normal?

    Depends what you mean by different compartments? The seal isn't as distinct as the 70's and early 80's, but there should be very thin seal line between the sections. If you want to post a scan, I can take a look at it.

    Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.

    In the past you could purchase racks like that in bulk at a discount. There were called miswraps.
    All your money won't another minute buy.

    I have seen that in the past. Sometimes the seal between compartments was not the best and they separated. Not common but I have seen it before. I have seen some dealers use this kind of rack to make one with multiple stars showing and lightly heat the cello to create the compartments.

    That's a grocery rack, not a rack pack~it consists of 3 individually wrapped cello packs with gum in each pack.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
